Practicing a short mountain runway

On March 2, 2016, Paul Prudent took me with his G1 on a short landing strip which he dubbed as his "second" personal runway when compared with its own at Les Fleurans (see this link). Very short, this mountain runway having an available length less than 150m is ideally located in the Southern Alps near Gap. Obviously this landing strip is not open to public air traffic.

The video on the left side of this page starts with 2 low flying runs over the landing strip so the pilot may be able to inspect the runway for obstruction or activity or animal... that would preclude any landing attempt.

To know more about the ultra-light G1, you can see the following link in english.
